DYW is an independent program run by the Dumfries & Galloway Chamber of Commerce, collaborating with various organizations to support businesses of all sizes. DYW organized and supported over 40 events covering secondary schools in the region, interacting with businesses and engaging over 16,000 young people. Events like Bang Goes DG and Positive Futures Program aimed at connecting employers with education and showcasing career opportunities. The program also focuses on introducing businesses to the education sector and encouraging collaboration between schools and employers.
DYW has established strong partnerships with organizations like Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, Scottish Borders Chamber, and British Chambers of Commerce to ensure the business voice of the South of Scotland is heard.
