Partnerships and Collaborations

In January and February 2025, BASAkalimantan Wiki engaged in various partnerships and collaborations with different institutions and communities to address youth-related issues such as brain rot and plastic waste mitigation. The collaboration with the Dinas Pemuda dan Olahraga Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan aimed to discuss potential cooperation opportunities for the upcoming Youth Conference. Additionally, collaborations were established with academic institutions like the Balai Bahasa Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan and Universitas PGRI Kalimantan to strengthen language expertise and support public policy initiatives.

Environmental Initiatives

Efforts to address environmental challenges were also prominent in the activities of BASAkalimantan Wiki. Initiatives like the "Baputik Ratik" campaign, which involved various environmental communities and government agencies in collecting plastic waste, demonstrated a commitment to promoting cleanliness and sustainability. The collaboration with Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Banjarbaru focused on consolidating public policies for plastic waste mitigation, including the development of recommendations and actions involving stakeholders and practical policy implementation strategies.

Youth Empowerment and Engagement

Empowering and engaging youth were central themes in the initiatives undertaken by BASAkalimantan Wiki. Activities such as webinars on the negative impact of digital media on brain development and the organization of the Youth Conference Kalimantan showcased a dedication to fostering youth participation in policy dialogues and community initiatives. These efforts aimed to raise awareness among young people about critical issues and involve them in decision-making processes that affect their futures.
