AFS Activities - Cultural Exchanges for Global Harmony
The importance of cultural exchanges in achieving global peace and harmony is emphasized in this section. The article narrates the experiences of 12 students on a 5-day AFS Domestic Exchange program to The Lawrence School Lovedale, Ooty. The students learned about different cultures, values of time and discipline, and appreciated the diversity in architecture, vegetation, climate, language, and food. The school aims to build a generation that values harmony and diversity for a better future.
Global Competence Certificate and STEM Program
The newsletter highlights the global connectedness of students and the role of teachers in fostering global competence. Ms. Neetu Gupta, a Maths teacher, was selected for the 2024 AFS Global STEM Educators program, where she interacted with educators from various countries. The program aims to build globally competent leaders and promote global competence in school communities. Delhi Public School congratulates Ms. Gupta on her successful completion of the STEM program.
