Mission and Vision
SAIN's mission is to prevent and address animal cruelty, working closely with law enforcement agencies. In 2023, the organization directly impacted the lives of 129 animals, striving to ensure that every animal is treated in accordance with Washington State laws. Impact and Achievements
SAIN's efforts in responding to cruelty and neglect involve rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming primarily horses that have been victims of mistreatment. The organization took in additional animals in collaboration with Animal Control and other partners, with 22 animals finding new forever homes or sanctuary. Additionally, through the Animal Assistance Program, SAIN provided nanogrants to help owners care for their animals, preventing unnecessary suffering. (Page 2)
