Remaining Events and Activities for SY 2024-2025

As the school year 2024-2025 approaches its halfway point, students and educators at Sta. Mesa National High School are anticipating key dates and activities. The school year began on July 29, 2024, and notable events include the resumption of classes on January 2, 2025, and holidays like Chinese New Year on January 29, 2025, and Eidul Fitr tentatively scheduled on March 21, 2025 (p.4).

SMNHS Photojournalists Shine at DSPC 2025

Sta. Mesa National High School photojournalists excelled at the Division Schools Press Conference in Bato, Leyte, from January 7-10, 2025. Mary Casey M. Medino claimed 1st place in Photo Journalism (English), advancing to the Regional Schools Press Conference. Vincent T. Bulacito secured 4th place in Pagku-ha sa Larawang Pampahayagan (Filipino). Their achievements highlight the school's dedication to photojournalism (p.6).

HUMSS Students Mentor Balilit Elementary Pupils

Collaborating with Balilit Elementary School, SMNHS launched "Project WELLNESS," a literacy and numeracy initiative. Grade 12 students act as mentors to Balilit Elementary pupils, fostering a supportive learning environment. The project aims to boost foundational skills in literacy and numeracy (p.9).
