Introduction to JCI India Foundation Scholarship

The scholarship application submission is available through the member's portal, with only the Local Organization President being able to submit applications for needy students from government or government-aided schools. The scholarships are aimed at supporting students from 9th to 12th standard, with amounts varying based on academic performance and gender, with a preference for girls achieving high scores. The deadline for submission is 31.07.2025. (p.1)

Scholarship Guidelines and Criteria

General/one-time scholarships of Rs 3000/- are awarded to selected students, while Empower Her scholarships of Rs 10,000/- per year are granted to high-achieving girl students. Students must meet the minimum academic requirements to be eligible and ensure all information and documents are submitted correctly through the portal. Disqualification of applications may occur if correct information and documents are not provided. (p.1)

Bank Account and Compulsory Documents

Students must have a bank account in their name or provide their parents' account details if they do not have one. The scholarship amount will be transferred directly to the selected students/parents' bank accounts through the NEFT system. Mandatory documents include the student's mark sheet, a certificate from the school authority regarding parents' income, and clear bank account details. Additionally, membership subscription and foundation fees must be paid before applying for the scholarship. (p.1)
