President's Report
In the June 2024 issue of Sandesh, the President of AHIA, Mohinder Kumar, extends gratitude to Miss Thadani for her years of support. Mrs. Sushma Ahluwalia will assist during Mr. Puri's absence, and Mr. Jalpota will revive YuvTarang. Save the date for AHIA’s Diwali function on October 19, 2024, at Pioneer Theatre, Castle Hill.

Secretary's Report
The winter season has arrived, but AHIA has exciting events planned. Members enjoyed a concert by Natraj Academy students. The AHIA Sakhis will celebrate Sawan on July 28, 2024. Plans for AHIA's picnic are underway, and details will be shared once confirmed.

Progress of Jammu Baramulla Railway Line
The Jammu–Baramulla railway line aims to connect the Kashmir Valley with Jammu. Significant progress has been made, with the completion of the track from Baramulla to Banihal. The stretch includes numerous tunnels and bridges, with plans to extend the line to Kupwara in Kashmir.
