Highlights of CFC Marriage Enrichment Retreat (MER 1)

Overview

The Couples for Christ (CFC) – Christ the Worker Chaplaincy Unit conducted the Marriage Enrichment Retreat 1 (MER 1) on September 20–21, 2025. The retreat aimed to deepen the couples' understanding of marriage as a covenant with God through prayer, reflection, healing, and fellowship.

Day One

The first day of the retreat included talks on serving God through Christian marriage, the role of the Christian couple as a pastoral team, the roles of the Christian husband and wife, effective communication in marriage, and healing relationships. Couples engaged in discussions and shared their struggles and joys.

Day Two

The second day featured a Holy Mass, renewal of marriage vows, and a talk on building homes for God. An open forum allowed participants to share reflections and action plans for applying the retreat's insights in their married life.
