Educating children about indigenous culture not only involves imparting knowledge about history and customs but also nurtures love for their homeland and contributes to their holistic development. It plays a crucial role in shaping children's character, skills, and understanding of the environment.
Based on theoretical research and the current status of indigenous cultural knowledge education for 5-6 year old children through learning activities in preschools, the study proposes measures to enhance the effectiveness of this education in Khang Ninh preschool, Ba Be district, Bac Kan province.
The study will focus on educating children aged 5-6 about traditional clothing, folk art, and customs, with specific themes such as professions, Tet (Lunar New Year) celebrations, homeland, and the late President Ho Chi Minh. It will involve 34 children and 30 teachers at Khang Ninh preschool in Ba Be district, Bac Kan province, from October 2024 to April 2025.
