Their perseverance and teamwork have been instrumental in overcoming demanding timelines and lastminute rushes, ensuring that we deliver quality results while maintaining our company's reputation for timely execution. As we continue to navigate the everevolving landscape of market research, our team has embraced the digital revolution, incorporating online qualitative and quantitative methodologies to enhance efficiency and innovation. This strategic shift towards digital platforms has not only streamlined our operations but has also positioned us as a forwardthinking organization, ready to meet the changing needs of our clients. team members. Our team structure emphasizes collaboration, where everyone contributes to various projects throughout the year. While this fosters teamwork, it can also lead to a lack of specialized expertise for out ofstation projects. This was evident in the recent Marico project in Bhopal. Despite our team's efforts, the project fell short of expectations due to limitations in the onsite team's capabilities. To address this challenge, we are actively working on strengthening the Bhopal team's skillsets to ensure they can handle future projects effectively. I want to thank my team for their brilliant teamwork and for making this year great. Dhurub Kukreti “Driving Success: Delivering Excellence Across Industries and Regions" During the financial year 20232024, I have done several projects, primarily with Cipla, VIP, Wildcraft, Tata Energy, Bajaj Auto, Future Factory, Marico, etc. Throughout the year, my active involvement has been there in executing each and every project associated with the Delhi region and even across the North India region while maintaining the best possible delivery of the project. Along with that, I have been highly committed to delivering excellent experiences to all of our clients. Hira Khan "Expanding Horizons: Insights and Milestones on the Journey" This financial year witnessed subsequent ups and downs in terms of work inflow. Some months were quiet but still learnt from mentors about how patience and flexibility could reward us with positive recognition and increased client satisfaction in the long run. I had the opportunity to gain more insight into some different categories like Nicotine Replacement Therapy, EV chargers, Barriers toward the adoption of Health Insurance and Home Solar panel system. Had several facetoface client meetings over the year that uplifted my confidence to rise and present study findings in front of the corporate decision makers in varied fields. The most enjoyable part of this year was my interaction with the owners of Keya Foods International Pvt. Ltd., followed by imparting right feedback to them to alter their newly developed kimchi noodles variant. Sutanu Chakraborty
Reflecting on our journey postpandemic, we've encountered diverse challenges handling projects for clients like Bajaj, Cipla, and Ad Factors, among others. Despite the obstacles, we've persevered, even with demanding projects. While lastminute rushes have been common, our commitment to quality has never wavered. Our success in delivering projects on time is pivotal to our company's transformation. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all team members for their tireless efforts and exceptional teamwork throughout the year. Their dedication has been instrumental in overcoming challenges and achieving success. Personally, my journey at IRS has been enlightening. It has provided me with invaluable lessons in freedom, fearlessness, communication development, and the ability to handle diverse responsibilities. Latha S “Reflections on Team Growth: Overcoming Challenges and Embracing Opportunities" When we reflect on the events of the past year, it's evident that 2023– 24 presented its fair share of challenges and victories. Despite facing difficulties in some projects due to overconfidence and occasional negligence, we've emerged stronger and wiser as a team. However, reflecting on this past year, it's undeniable that we've faced significant challenges. The notion of overconfidence within the Mumbai team has been a notable hurdle. Our team sometimes felt too sure of themselves. Even though we have a lot of experience, we got too comfortable. We thought we knew everything and didn't pay attention to important things. Because of this, we faced problems and lost things. One of the key lessons learned was the importance of treating every task with equal dedication and diligence. Regardless of the project's complexity or apparent simplicity, each undertaking demands our utmost attention and effort. In particular, two emerging faces within our team—Suraksha “The Hard Worker” and Avantika “The Quick Learner”—have risen to the occasion, taking on additional responsibilities and proving their worth. As we say bye to 2023–24, we are eagerly waiting for the adventures that await us in the upcoming year, 2024–25. With all of us working together and helping each other, I'm sure we'll keep doing amazing things. Shakti and Sailaja's support makes a big difference too. Over the past year, from March 2023 to April 2024, our team has undertaken diverse projects for esteemed clients such as Ad Factor, Cipla Marico etc., predominantly focusing on online qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. Notably, our approach with Ad Factor involved leveraging online platforms like Google Forms for quantitative research, streamlining data collection and saving valuable time traditionally spent on manual data entry. As our company gradually embraces the digital landscape of market research, there are several key areas for improvement and innovation. Firstly, providing laptops with reliable internet connectivity to staff working at client offices would align our operations with industry standards and facilitate seamless collaboration. Furthermore, incorporating creative design elements into online survey forms can mitigate the risk of data inaccuracies caused by respondent oversight. Simplifying the questionnaire layout and utilizing intuitive rating systems can help respondents navigate the survey more effectively, reducing the likelihood of missed data points. In essence, our journey towards online research and fieldwork signifies a strategic evolution in our approach, characterized by adaptability and innovation. By implementing these suggested improvements, we can further elevate the quality and efficiency of our services, ultimately strengthening our position in the competitive market research landscape. Yogesh Surve “Market researchers have a talent for making you feel like your opinion on shampoo is the most important thing in the world.” "Exploring Project Dynamics: Insights from Collaborative Endeavors" Sharing my experience from the last year, 20232024. We had the opportunity to work on several projects for wellknown companies like Bajaj Auto, Cipla, Marico, VIP, and Ad factor. Additionally, we collaborated with new clients such as Bonito Design, Bandhan Bank, Wildcraft, Bare bone, Bain & Company, and Tata Elxsi. Among these, I dedicated extra effort to projects for Bonito Design because their clients were very busy and didn't have much time to spare for feedback. One notable project was for
me. For instance, we worked on ProjectLive Space Live free, exploring how people feel secure after the pandemic. This taught us valuable lessons about securing our loved ones. Another project, Project Chennai opinion Study, delved into the pollution caused by industries, big and small, on the environment and water. Lastly, ProjectSolar Spectrum highlighted the importance of solar energy awareness and government initiatives in the power sector. Working for IRS, a small research company, has its perks. We have direct involvement with clients, understanding their requirements firsthand. This direct engagement benefits both the client and us, as it ensures clarity and effective communication. This is my personal opinion. I want to express my gratitude to my field team for successfully completing all the challenging projects. And a big thank you to IRS for allowing me to share my thoughts in the 2024 newsletter. Vinayak Pandit “Navigating Challenges: Overcoming Hurdles, Fostering Resilience" I primarily focus on attaining clients within the Marico industry. Meeting study requirements involves finding articulate, communicative, and genuine consumers without repeating participants. It's challenging due to competition from other agencies, which means constantly finding new consumers while avoiding repeats. Marico's location in an industrial area means dealing with traffic delays, which can push back the start of studies. Additionally, consumers sometimes drop out unexpectedly, avoid calls, or misrepresent themselves, leading to disappointment for our clients. Despite these obstacles, I successfully manage these issues to ensure projects are completed on time. Dealing with such situations requires a lot of patience in handling both clients and consumers. In summary, this role demands resilience and adaptability, but it has greatly improved my communication skills with both clients and consumers. I'm grateful for the chance to share my work experiences from this past year. Throughout the year, I completed various projects for important clients like Cipla, VIP, Marico, Bain & Company, Bajaj, and Tata Elxsi. However, my main focus was on projects for Cipla, VIP, and Marico. One of the biggest lessons I learned this year was how crucial it is to be efficient, especially when time is tight. There were times when we had to finish projects quickly, so I had to figure out the most important tasks and get them done fast. My main role involved finding the right people for our projects, making sure they met all the requirements. It was essential to communicate these requirements clearly to the recruiters involved, so nothing got missed. Overall, this year has taught me a lot about attention to detail and being precise, especially when working on urgent projects. – Avantika Karanjavkar "Mastering Versatility: Leading PanIndia Projects with Strategic Excellence" During the financial year 2023–24, I was involved in the planning, budgeting, and execution of all the projects PAN India. Interacting with clients at each step and providing insights on how to achieve the expected outcome summarizes my contribution. Apart from business development, client servicing, operations, and execution, I was involved as a researcher with one of our key clients. Strengthening the organization has always been my primary goal (as can be seen from the number of years I have been serving). I try not to spotlight or feature my challenges, as these obstacles and demurrers are inevitable, needless to mention, and are actually the ones that illuminate my path, and I consider these the goalposts that lead me to achieve. Throughout the span of 20232024, I had the privilege of contributing to various projects for esteemed clients such as VIP, Cipla, and Adfactor. Given our company's distinctive selling point of quick turnaround time, meticulous planning became necessary for ensuring the successful execution of each project. While data holds significant importance for our clients, I gained a deeper understanding of the necessity to present it in an attractive and visually appealing manner. This realization struck home particularly when Ma’am entrusted me with the task of creating a video for Sand Network Pvt Ltd. Despite initial doubts about my abilities, I embraced the challenge and was pleasantly surprised by the positive feedback received. This experience served as a reminder of my capabilities and potential for growth. Furthermore, I learned firsthand the invaluable importance of fostering positive client relationships. Upholding respect and courtesy towards clients, even during challenging circumstances, emerged as a cornerstone of maintaining enduring partnerships. I discovered that effective communication, infused with politeness and empathy, serves as the bedrock for cultivating longterm client satisfaction. In essence, the year 20232024 served as a transformative period marked by invaluable lessons and personal development. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to both Sir and Ma’am for affording me the platform to reflect on my experiences and share my learnings.
