Welcome to the Youth Assembly!

This Youth Assembly is for you! You picked the topics, because you voted for them. Questions, already answered: What is this booklet? This booklet contains all the activities and tasks, we will be covering in the Youth Assembly. You will work as a group with your school to help plan, and answer with all your work in this booklet. Why only one booklet – I would rather work alone? To save paper, and help the environment, we would rather save the trees than damage them. Why do I need to do work if we are talking? It is easier to write and plan your ideas and solutions to come back to later as the planning will come in handy across the board. Who is the Worcestershire Youth Cabinet? The Worcestershire Youth Cabinet is a group of young people aged 11-18 who aim to provide all the young people in Worcestershire with a voice. We make sure your voices are represented and heard across Local, Regional, and National Governments. How do I join? If you would like to become part of the Cabinet, and be part of our success, you or your parents can contact our Lead Youth Worker (Celena) at youthvoiceteam@worcestershire.gov.uk. If you are not 13 years of age, your parents should send the email for you. Under the General Data Protection Laws – the Worcestershire County Council cannot process information of those under 13 without parental consent.
