BACKGROUNDER What is “1nmillion hair collections?” “1nMillion Hair Collections isn’t just your regular hair business; we strive for legendary achievements as well as diversity amongst the beauty industry. We hope to make an impact on young adults today by becoming that leader to pave the way for younger people to look up to and to show them that anything is possible when you have ambition, patience, and trust.” Why did you choose “1nmillion” for your brand name? “I chose the name "1nMillion" for my brand as a tribute to the late R&B singer Aaliyah, inspired by her song One in a Million. The name represents uniqueness, excellence, and the idea of being truly one of a kind, just as her music and legacy continue to inspire.” Where do you see your business going in 5 years? “I see my business flourishing into something bigger and greater. I see me doing different things in the hair community and opening up a beauty supply store where I will sell my own line of products, from adhesive lace glue to titanium straighteners, and taking my community by storm and showing love to my city while doing it.” When is your next event or product coming out? “Well, I just wrapped up a pop-up shop event, so my next event I plan on doing is something in the public eye and something that social media plays a big role in where I go around showing people my bundles and advertising my brand to everyone at the mall.”

They also organized a raffle, giving participants a chance to win a free wig simply by entering their name. The founder of 1NMillion highlighted a model wearing her hair products, which she both sells and installs, while also sharing more about her experience in hairstyling and the hair business.
