The front mount original Hard Charger is designed to only work with Mil Spec Forged AR-15s. These rifles can be chambered in other calibers and still work with the Hard Charger. They only need to have a Mil Spec Forged Uppers and use a standard charging handle. Billet Machined AR-15s The HCT2 and HCR2 are both Gen 2 Tactical and Rear Hard Chargers. These new variations now allow the Side Charging Handle System to mount not only to Forged, Mil Spec Uppers, but also to CNC Machined Billet Uppers. These two new variants are also great options for the Ruger SFAR and the Palmetto State Armory KS-47 that does not lock open after the last round, requiring charging every time you insert a fresh magazine. AR-10 / AR308 The HC-10 and HC-10R are designed for the large frame AR-10 rifles and are made with three different adjustable points to account for varying widths, picatinny slot cut orientations, and rail height elevations.
