SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE DEN OF A PAINTER 2ND YEAR 2ND SEMESTER “Den of a Painter” is a single family residence for an artist, designed in such a way that is bold like the strokes of a painter and its functions are distinguishable like the different colors. There is bedrooms and living rooms just like anyother residence, but as this is the den, it has the work station for the painter and a bold massing sticking out which is a personal art gellary of the artist. Green terraces and roof make it a perfect home for both relaxation and work station. A space that invite art into the spaces with the use of different materials and shades. The wooden louvers create a dynamic and everchanging play of natural light inside the gallery which creates another dimention to the arts itself.

BEHIND THIS ADVANCE CITY AND ITS DEVELOPMENT THERE IS INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION AND ADVANCE TECHNOLOGY. RAPID URBAN GROWTH AND ADVANCE INFRASTRUCTURE TOOK THE COUNTRY WHERE IT IS STANDING TODAY. BUT THIS RAPID URBANISATION COST DEFORESTATION AND CREATE LAND SCARCITY. BESIDE THIS PROBLEMS THE COUNTRY SUFFERS FROM LACK OF FRESH WATER AS MOST OF THE WATER IS FROM OCEAN. Site challenges: 1.
