I began my glass journey in 1991 and have developed a style incorporating kiln formed and traditional stained glass. I find joy in working with colour, creating beautiful objects for the home and garden. I am a qualified Interior Designer, so creativity is definitely in my blood. I love light, colour and form, so glass was a natural path for me to explore. I started making beads and jewellery, but in more recent times I have moved towards mixed media sculptural pieces. Each glass piece I make is unique and formed from the finest Murano glass from Italy, with specialist glasses from the USA. My art pendants are mini canvasses with the designs created in the flame using powdered glass and finely pulled strings of glass which I use like pencils. I also enjoy playing with the fluid nature of molten glass by creating hollow forms in varying organic shapes.
