NSS has always stood up to its strong spirit of serving people keeping in mind the policy of “Not Me, But You”. The belief that we must live for others, is being realized through the selfless service of the NSS volunteers who get into timely action for the upliftment of the needy people of their respective localities. NSS unit of TCET has always given the volunteers, a platform to serve the society and bring happiness and smiles on many faces, which has sown the seeds of social commitment in many students who are otherwise kept aloof from the real challenges and torments faced by the masses in the society as a whole. A team of 150 committed NSS Volunteers and Programme Officers of TCET under the NSS Technical cell of Directorate of Technical Education, Mumbai have proven to be an enough cause and reason for instilling a significant change in the society. The service rendered by NSS are varied in nature: Education, Environment, Health and Society. Regular Activities and Special Camping Programmes are the highlights of NSS activities of the college.

Objective: To honor and remember those who sacrificed for the nation through a Unity Run Marathon. Outcome: 63 NSS volunteers actively participated, fostering gratitude and unity among participants, while showcasing tribute towards those who made sacrifices for the country. Akalan : Paper Correction Objective: The project aimed to enhance education quality and assessment abilities through creative and practical learning methods. Outcome: 59 volunteers actively participated in evaluating quizzes for 369 students, providing valuable feedback to enhance student learning and improving volunteers' assessment skills.
Objective: The Medical Checkup Camp aimed to underscore the importance of prioritizing health through proactive healthcare practices and regular checkups Outcome: The Medical Checkup Camp aimed to underscore the importance of prioritizing health through proactive healthcare practices and regular checkups Swachh Diwali Shubh Diwali Objective: The initiative aimed to link cultural celebrations with promoting environmental sustainability by hosting a Pledge Taking Activity during Diwali. Outcome: 91 volunteers participated in the "Empowering Local: Supporting Vocal for Local" Pledge Taking Activity resulted as a collective commitment to prioritize indigenous goods and services, fostering economic sustainability and preserving India's rich cultural heritage.
Objective: The "Empowering Local: Supporting Vocal for Local" Pledge Taking Activity sought to strengthen local businesses in resonance with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Make in India initiative. Outcome: Enthusiastic volunteer participation and commitments to prioritize indigenous products and services not only contributed to economic sustainability but also safeguarded India's cultural legacy. Desh ke Utsav Pledge Objective: To inspire NSS volunteers to pledge their commitment to promoting the nation's cultural heritage and actively contributing to its development, fostering unity and a favorable public image for NSS volunteers. Outcome: 195 volunteers participated in the "Desh Ke Utsav" project, taking a pledge to promote the nation's cultural heritage, contribute to its development, and strengthen unity among volunteers across cultural, linguistic, and regional differences.
Objective: To raise awareness among 11th and 12th standard students about the free mock MHT-CET online test series, encourage registrations, and offer a valuable platform for students to evaluate their exam readiness and enhance their preparation through targeted practice. Outcome: The MHT-CET project successfully spread awareness about the free mock test series, resulting in increased registrations and providing students with a platform to assess their exam readiness and improve their preparation for the MHT-CET examination. Samvidhan Divas Objective: The Pledge Taking event aimed to honor and celebrate the principles of the Indian Constitution on Constitution Day, fostering awareness and commitment among participants. Outcome: Attendees demonstrated a commitment to promote social harmony by pledging to uphold the principles of democracy, equality, and justice.
