Martin Luther King Republicans

Welcome

We are grateful to have you join our 15th annual DreamKeepers' Dinner. Each year, we serve a commemorative meal in honor of the 1963 March on Washington with reflections on Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s most prophetic sermon, "I Have A Dream," and recognize individuals and groups embracing Rev. King's vision, upholding the principles of nonviolence, and inspiring the next generation. We will also worship together at New Canaan Land Baptist Church tomorrow because Reverend King taught us that our work is that of The Father and that HE is the one to be Most Celebrated. This year's theme is A Table of Harmony: Celebrating 60 Years of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s 'I Have a Dream' sermon through Nonviolent Principles. Our 2023 DreamKeepers are Jack Brewer, Rep. Byron Donalds, Samantha Garca, and Mama Dee, celebrating her Earth Day Birthday with us this evening. We will also play an audio version of Dr. King's sermon that we hope you enjoy. This commemorative book contains pictures, essays, and reflections about Rev. King's sermon. We invite you to share yours with us. We also have included the Six Principles and Steps of Nonviolence that MLKR utilizes in the political arena to fulfill King's vision of a united America. Please read and share them. The Martin Luther King Republicans continue to host 2023 events at the beautiful Trump International Hotel and Towers Chicago because this is where MLKR was founded in 2008, on the night former President Obama gave his speech in Grant Park. It was formed to be the conservative option for the Black community we are today. Dedicating 15 years to helping create policy, advising legislators, recruiting candidates, supporting grassroots efforts, and contributing wherever possible to build a Beloved Country where all are proud to be Americans. Tillman Family Press will publish this commemorative book as part of the Martin Luther King Republicans' 15th Anniversary Series.

Introduced in the House by Congresswoman Frederica S. Wilson (DFL), and

led by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) in the Senate, the bill was unanimously passed on June 25. The CSSBMB will investigate potential civil rights violations affecting black males and study the disparities they experience in education, criminal justice, health, employment, fatherhood, mentorship, and violence.
