The Agusan Bukidnon Diversion Road Bayanihan Church Planting Project was established in the year 2000 through the Ministry of Heritage Baptist Mission School of the Bible. This Bible School was created with the purpose of training lay pastors for the Agusan Baptist Jungle Mission. After four years of operation, the Agusan Bukidnon Diversion Road Bayanihan Church Planting Project was formed as a result of the Bible School. Thirty pastors, including seven missionaries have graduated from this Bible School and are actively involved in the project. The Agusan Bukidnon Diversion Road serves as the main road connecting Bukidnon, Gingoog City, Claveria City, Agusan del Norte, and Agusan del Sur. Given that the road passes through jungle areas and mountains, the project has chosen to concentrate its mission efforts in these particular areas. Many communities along this road have not yet been reached by the gospel, and the project aims to saturate the entire Diversion Road within the next five years.
