Our Alumnae St. Jean’s is where education meets opportunity and futures take shape. Once a Jeanite, Always a Jeanite! Every Jeanite has a story to tell. For some, it’s about discovering their passion. For others, it’s about building confidence, seizing possibilities, or serving others. These are the qualities that shape an education at SJB— and the qualities our alumnae carry into the world. Jeanites go on to college prepared to succeed. You’ll find them at Ivy League campuses such as Princeton, Brown, and Cornell; at world-class institutions across the country, from Boston College, Drexel, George Washington, and USC; and at leading schools right here in New York City, including NYU, FIT, Fordham, Barnard, and Hunter. Wherever their paths take them, Jeanites carry the same spirit of drive, resilience, and service that began here at SJB. We invite you to meet a few of our recent alumnae—and see how they are transforming passion into purpose, confidence into achievement, and dreams into bright futures. This fall I began my studies at the Connell School of Nursing at Boston College with a full scholarship, pursuing my passion for medicine and a career in obstetrics and gynecology. Through my internships at Weill Cornell and Lenox Hill Hospitals, I studied anatomy, observed surgeries, and discovered just how much I wanted to care for others. My time at SJB deepened that passion and prepared me to follow my dream of making a difference in medicine. —Hope B. ’25, Boston College Confidence I found the confidence to lead and to dream bigger than I ever thought possible while a student at SJB. From serving in student government to captaining a dance team, I discovered strengths I didn’t know I had and took on challenges I once thought were out of reach. My time at SJB gave me the confidence to embrace challenges and opened the door to my acceptance at NYU. —Gelianny P. ’25, New York University Compassion Academically, my senior year was exciting! Just as meaningful to me was the chance to volunteer as a campus tour guide, serve as a peer leader, work with students at a local elementary school, and spend time visiting senior citizens at Goddard Riverside Community Center. My time at SJB prepared me for my college journey and taught me to stay true to what it means to be a Woman for Others. —Caitlyn ‘23, SUNY Stony Brook University Opportunities hile a student at St. Jean’s, I earned a full scholarship to eorge uring my sophomore year, I studied in Singapore as part of ashington University. U’s selective lobal Bachelor’s Program, spent a semester in Spain, and interned in Morocco with a women’s education organization. My time at SJB taught me to take risks, embrace opportunities, and make the most of my college experience. —Arianna N. ‘22, George Washington University Commitment At Drexel, I’m pursuing a double major in electrical and computer engineering. I worked with my department head on a faculty-mentored project and gained real-world experience through my co-op with Pennsylvania’s largest electric and gas utility. I also volunteer with TechServ, refurbishing and donating computers to people in need. My time at SJB taught me that learning and service go hand in hand—and both will always be a part of who I am. —Candace A. ‘22, Howard University St. Jean Baptiste High School 173 East 75th Street (between Lexington and Third Avenues) New York, NY 10021 | 212.288.1645 stjean.org St.JeanBaptisteHighSchool stjeanhs @stjeanhs
