M E R C AT U S The Seat of Vision represents the heart of purpose and foresight in UAPSA . It belongs to those who cast direction, shape goals, and inspire action rooted in clarity and mission. It is occupied by visionaries who see not only what is—but what could be. FOCUS: Community service Fe d e rat i o n -w i d e i n i t i at i ve s Collaboration with outside institutions Advocacy work Mercatus is the official merchandise initiative of the organization. This platform allows the release and sale of exclusive UAPSA-USLT items such as shirts, tote bags, stickers, and other creative goods. All proceeds are used to fund future organizational events and advocacies, making every purchase a contribution to our mission.

RUN FOR CAUSE To promote wellness while supporting community and organizational projects. A non-competitive fun run open to all ages and fitness levels, designed to raise funds while encouraging health, unity, and social engagement. CAPEX CRAFTS Capital Expansion Project Crafts is a student-led selling hub where UAPSA members can showcase and sell their own creations — from handcrafted goods and artworks to architecturealigned services. This initiative promotes entrepreneurship and creative expression while generating income for the individual members and the organization. A minimal fee or commission supports the org’s operational funds, fostering a culture of shared growth and mutual support. S C R A P C YC L E Green fundraising through recycling. A bi-weekly or monthly scrap collection drive that turns recyclables (plastic bottles, egg trays, paper, etc.) into organizational funds while promoting environmental consciousness.

C A M PA I G N Short-term awareness campaigns that use design to inform and educate communities about disaster preparedness, environmental conservation, and public health. A D V O C A C R E AT E A R T I V I S TA A creative media series where the committee produces compelling visuals like posters and videos supporting key advocacies such as mental health, heritage preservation, or gender equality. The goal is to spread awareness and spark thoughtful dialogue. An art-driven competition where students create works (digital, visual, or mixed-media) that respond to timely social or environmental issues. The contest fosters activism through art and invites the broader student body to engage creatively with pressing topics.

REREDOS Spotlighting the diverse sociocultural activities of various cultures, within the Philippines, UAPSA-USLT will use its official page to regularly share facts, traditions, and stories that promote social awareness and sensitivity Through this initiative, we hope to inspire curiosity, break down stereotypes, and help build a more harmonious and culturally sensitive community. REEL CHANGE Reel change: Filming the voices that matter Empowers students to use documentary filmmaking as a medium for advocacy, reflection, and impact. It invites young creatives to seek out real stories of service, struggle, hope, and transformation and share them with honesty and heart. More than technical skill, this platform nurtures empathy, curiosity, and ethical storytelling. G R E E N PAT R O L Form a student-led group that monitors and encourages proper waste segregation, cleanliness, and environmental responsibility in classrooms.

GREEN CORNERS

Set up mini “green corners” In classrooms or common areas with plants, recycled crafts, and info boards about ecofriendly practices. SAC R E D S H OWCAS E To highlight how design can be a vessel of faith by showcasing architectural works of sacred and spiritual spaces. Sacred Showcase celebrates sacred design by displaying students’ works—churches, chapels, and spiritual spaces— in respected venues like museums and galleries. It uplifts architecture as both an artistic and spiritual calling, showing how design can honor divinity, tradition, and beauty. It’s about reimagining faith in form.
