Assessment is crucial in the teaching and learning process, especially in English, to ensure its effectiveness in measuring students' abilities. Well-designed test questions are essential for providing accurate insights into students' strengths and weaknesses. This assignment comprises 10 objective questions, including comprehension and error correction questions, as well as a structured email writing question. The questions were developed in consultation with English teachers and based on material from an item designing course. A group of Form 3 students with an upper-intermediate level of English proficiency from Sekolah Menengah Sains Bagan Datoh participated as respondents.
