Letter from the Chairman

In the upcoming year, Effingham Chamber of Commerce aims to resume in-person events while prioritizing the health and safety of its members. The Chamber played a crucial role during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing information resources and supporting the passage of the TSPLOST. Additionally, a new tiered membership structure was implemented, and efforts were made towards the "E-Commerce" Freeport Exemption referendum. The Chamber is also relocating its offices to the Co-Op Business Center in downtown Springfield. Acknowledgments were made to board members and new additions for their dedication and contribution to the Chamber's success.

Founded in 1986, the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce is committed to supporting local businesses and attracting new enterprises. With over 300 members, the Chamber's Board of Directors represents businesses of various sizes. The organization aims to build consensus and create a better future for the community. The Chamber has a history of past presidents who have contributed significantly to its growth and success.
