Sunita Williams, Butch Wilmore and Crew-9 Astronauts Return to Earth
After spending more than nine months in space, NASA Crew-9 astronauts Sunita Williams, Nick Hague, Butch Wilmore, and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov finally breathed Earth’s air again on Wednesday following the successful splashdown of SpaceX’s Dragon capsule. The astronauts were welcomed back with admiration and congratulations from prominent Indian leaders, including ISRO. The collaborative efforts of NASA, SpaceX, and the United States in advancing space exploration were acknowledged.
NSA Ajit Doval and US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard discussed various facets of the Indo-US relationship during a meeting in New Delhi. Gabbard, known for her distinguished service in the US Army Reserve, expressed her deep admiration for India and its culture. The ongoing negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement between India and New Zealand aim to enhance supply chain integration and market access, fostering mutual growth and prosperity.
