NSS 2025 “Play to Win: HBCUs in the 21st Century”

The 7th National Summit for the Sustainability of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) recently took place in Charlotte, North Carolina, bringing together leaders, partners, and stakeholders to discuss the future of these important institutions. Key Participants

The summit was co-hosted by Dr. Roslyn Artis, President of Benedict College, and Dr. Makola Abdullah, President of Virginia State University, among other distinguished figures in the HBCU community. Quentin Roach, Chairman of the National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame, brought his expertise in global supply chain management to the discussion, emphasizing the importance of advancing HBCU excellence. Dr. Wes Bellamy, a prominent figure in academia and public policy, also shared his insights on combating white supremacy and leveraging privilege and power for positive change.
