Key Points

• Young people aged 10–25 from eight communities across England are empowered as Place-based Champions to lead local social action, demonstrate leadership, and motivate others by sharing their initiatives and outcomes.

• The #iwill Movement operates on a national scale with hundreds of ambassadors, hundreds of champions, numerous partner organizations, and alumni, all dedicated to unlocking and amplifying the power of youth to shape change in their communities.

• Becoming a Place-based Champion is open to individuals or groups in Blackpool, Brighton, Bristol, Gloucester, Ipswich, Newcastle, Northampton, and Thetford. The role offers flexible entry, access to digital resources and training, opportunities to collaborate with peers, and a clear pathway to upgrade to a Place-based Ambassador if desired.
