gratitude to our learners, teachers, school staff, parents, and partners who have been part of this shared journey. This year's theme, Henerasyon ng Pagkakaisa: Kaagapay ng Bagong Pilipinas, underscores our collective effort in strengthening our education system to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving world. I have seen this commitment firsthand in my visits to schools across the country. I have met learners who wake up before dawn to walk kilometers to learn, teachers who go beyond their duty, and parents who sacrifice to provide their children with better opportunities. These realities push us to craft enduring reforms. Through the 5-Point Reform Agenda, we have taken concrete steps to address classroom shortage, strengthen our workforce by filling critical personnel, accelerate digitalization, enrich career pathways, and implement policies that lead to systemic improvements. We opened the doors of our offices and schools to our partners in the private sector to make all of these happen. Beyond solving existing challenges, we are also spearheading the groundwork for a future-ready education system. Our goal is not just about an uptick in numbers. Our goal is for every Filipino child, no matter where they are, to have the opportunity for learning, growth, and success. To our teachers and school staff, your dedication is the foundation of this transformation. Your hope and hard work are the reason we are making progress. To parents and guardians, your support at home shapes the aspirations of our learners and inspires them to strive for more. To our students, you are the heart of everything we do. Your dreams fuel our drive to make education better and more inclusive. And to our graduates and completers of SY 2024-2025, congratulations! You are the generation that binds all of us together. As you step into the next chapter of your lives, bring with you the values of perseverance, resourcefulness, and compassion that define us as Filipinos. As Ferdinand strengthen potential. stronger, Pilipinas! we move forward, DepEd, under the administration of President R. goes, it is the conclusion of your academic tasks and at the same time the commencement of the more complicated challenges that lie ahead. Being one that shared your strife and who has seen how you fought your little battles, truly proud I am of your accomplishments. As the theme exhorts, be the generation that will end the conflicts that we now see in our midst. We stand on the threshold of deciding whether the world ahead of us will fail or will it be a work in fruition. My dear graduates, know your roots and the principles that your ancestors have laid down for you to stand on. Use history as the foundation of whatever worthwhile decision you will take as you trek the higher steps in the hierarchy of life. Make sure that you are confident yet grounded. Be on guard for what your actions may cause on others. And as always, look up to the Almighty for guidance. Only by these principles can you be called partners for a better generation ahead. One day in the future, when we, your mentors would have parked our pens and contemplate on the fruits of our labor, we would like to rest on the thought that our Philippines is in the best hands. The very hands that we now train to become good leaders. With brilliant minds and compassionate hearts. JOSE L. DONCILLO, CESO V SCHOOLS DIVISION SUPERINTENDENT

is through learning, growth, and perseverance that we transcend challenges and unlock our potential. As we continue this journey together, we are reminded that true education extends beyond the classroom; it is about developing character, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose. Aristotle once said, “The roots of education are bitter, but the fruit is sweet.” The road to success is often paved with obstacles, but it is through overcoming these challenges that we find fulfillment and achievement. Every difficulty faced is an opportunity to build strength, and each success, no matter how small, brings us closer to becoming the best versions of ourselves. In this pursuit of excellence, we are reminded of the wisdom of Confucius, who taught, “It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.” The journey may sometimes feel overwhelming, but persistence and determination are key. Each step, no matter how small, contributes to the greater whole. Success is not measured by speed, but by the consistency of effort and the resolve to continue moving forward. The lessons we learn within these walls are not just academic; they are about how to live with integrity, kindness, and purpose. The impact we have on the world around us is shaped by our actions, and as Aristotle also taught, “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act, but a habit.” Excellence is not an isolated achievement, but a consistent practice. It is through daily effort, no matter the task, that we cultivate excellence in every area of our lives. Let this journey continue to be one of growth, self-discovery, and unwavering dedication. With each lesson, each challenge, and each triumph, we are not just preparing for exams or accolades, but for a lifetime of learning and contributing to the world. Through education, we are empowered to become the leaders, innovators, and change-makers of tomorrow. Congratulations, completers! Your hardwork and dedication have to this remarkable achievement. We are proud of your success and excited for the bright future ahead! EDNA G. FAJARDO SECONDARY SCHOOL PRINCIPAL II
