DUBBING WORKFLOW OVERVIEW

The workflow steps are broken out into 3 parts: PRELUDE Transcription and metadata augmentation tool ALLEGRO Translation, voice generation and adaptation tool CODA Quality assessment tool NOTE: Currently, all 3 steps are performed in the same tool and have the same user interface. Prelude, Allegro and Coda are not separate, stand-alone tools. PRELUDE - Transcription and Dialog List Creation The purpose of this step is to prepare dialog and include additional context for our automated translation tool so that translators start their part of the process with a flawless script and the best possible automated translation that can be created. Before the material reaches the hands of translators, English editors will review, update and add information to the Dialog List. PROPERTY OF GLOBAL 3. NOT TO BE PUBLISHED OR CIRCULATED Page 4

INTRODUCTION TO ALLEGRO

Global3 has developed its own translation engine that incorporates information such as context, plot, character gender, annotations and glossary terms to produce precise and high-quality translations. Translators must review and refine engine-generated translations, carefully addressing potential issues such as formality, pluralization (e.g., when a character addresses a group in the singular), gender, idiomatic expressions, puns and wordplay, jokes and other nuances of the language. BASIC FEATURES: BOX NUMBER Denotes the box number or dialogue instance within the file. MERGE This option enables the merging of one box with the next. ADD Ability to add a new box for missing narratives, dialogue, etc. DELETE Option to delete the segment/box along with the content. Box Number Merge/Add/Delete boxes PROPERTY OF GLOBAL 3.
