BOBBY NESBITT is a passionate devotee of the Great

American Songbook. Originally from Rochester NY, he was trained at an early age in classical piano. But Beethoven and Grieg were soon replaced by Berlin and Gershwin as he discovered and concentrated on the masters of 20th Century song. From London’s Savoy Hotel, where he had a one year engagement as the first American performer in the famed American Bar, to a three year stint at the Fairmont in San Francisco, as well as residencies at Harry’s New York Bar in Berlin and Pussers Bar in Munich, Bobby has traveled the world performing for enthusiastic audiences. His CD “Big Time” was one of 25 selected by the music director of the Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City to be included in the Olympic Games Music Library. Since 2006, Bobby has written and performed a series of shows for the Tennessee Williams Theater, the popular Bobby in the Lobby series, a combination lecture/concert with stories and songs focusing on one songwriter per show. He has done intensive research for these shows and audiences hear stories about the familiar and beloved songs and look at them in a new light. He has performed these shows literally around the world on the luxury cruise lines Regent and Seabourn. He has also performed at the Metropolitan Museum in NYC, the National Arts Club of NYC, and the Arts Club of Chicago. In 2010, Bobby started a new series at the Harry S Truman Little White House in Key West. Set in the Trumans’ living room, Bobby performs on Harry’s piano and sings the songs of the Truman era, while giving a history lesson at the same time. Bobby is an entertainer of the old school, no drum machines, tracks, synthesizers. Just piano and voice, performing the songs of the masters of American songwriting. SUSAN POWELL was born and raised in Elk City, Oklahoma and in September of 1980 she was named Miss America 1981. In the years following Susan has appeared before audiences in theatres, opera houses and concert halls all over the world. For 12 seasons, Miss Powell hosted her own one hour series called HOME MATTERS on The Discovery Channel. Off-Broadway Susan starred as Alcamene in OLYMPUS ON MY MIND. She made her operatic debut as Adele in DIE FLEDERMAUS with the Seattle Opera and debuted at the New York City Opera as Johanna in Harold Prince’s production of SWEENEY TODD. She has been the featured soloist with numerous symphonies, including The Boston Pops, Philadelphia,
