Doesnβt Belong in Regular Trash

E-waste refers to electronic waste β electrical and electronic products that are no longer wanted, broken, outdated, or unused. Even if they still appear useful, once they no longer function or have been replaced, they are considered e-waste and must be managed properly. Broken Mobile Phones Faulty Chargers & USB Cables Used Earphones & Headsets Dead Batteries Damaged Keyboards & Mice Broken Calculators Non-working Radios & Speakers Old School Devices Remote Controls & Flashlights β IMPORTANT REMINDER Items with a battery, plug, or that use electricity may be e-waste. Waste electronics pose a risk to health and the environment if not collected and recycled properly.

Matters

π‘ Ask First: "Does It Still Work?" Not all old devices need to go to the e-waste box right away! Inspect the item carefully β check for damage, cracks, or missing parts. β Ask yourself: "Is it still functional? Can someone else use it?" β If YES Reuse it, donate it, or get it repaired! If NO Place it carefully in the EWaste Collection Box. Store e-waste dry, separately, and away from food and general garbage. NEVER burn, bury, or crush electronic items or batteries! When repurposing is not possible, consider repairing; when it isn't possible, consider recycling.
