The NPD team at Jesse Brown VA Medical Center recently hosted events such as the Preceptor Class and Certified Nurses Day to provide education and recognition to clinical nurses. Additionally, team members attended the 2024 Aspire Convention to learn about inclusive excellence in nursing and building high-performing teams through innovation. The team also presented on utilizing gamification to positively impact patient safety and suicide prevention, receiving positive feedback and recognition for their engaging presentation.
Furthermore, the team participated in the 31st National Evidence-Based Practice Conference to learn about cutting-edge developments in applying innovation to evidence-based practice for improved patient care outcomes. The conference focused on strategies for engaging patients, clinicians, and communities in evidence-based practice to facilitate networking and advance healthcare outcomes.
