Republic. She began playing guitar at age of six. She graduated from Prague Conservatory under Prof. Vaclav Kucera. When she was 24 years old, she retired from music and went to England for a year and then USA to learn English and travel until she eventually settled in Key West in 2003. She returned to music when her wife bought her a classical guitar in 2012. Her playing style is traditional technique that involves plucking the strings with the fingers. She was inspired by Paco de Lucia, Spanish flamenco virtuoso as a role model and says that if it wasn’t for Paco, she would have never learned how to play the guitar. Martina plays a cedar top Manuel Adalid guitar. Adalid is a well known Spanish luthier born in 1951. Her guitar was shipped to Long Island New York directly from Spain in 2018 and she has played it ever since. Several music styles are in her repertoire including, classical, latin, contemporary, flamenco and rock and roll with her own arrangements. When she doesn’t play guitar, she works as a personal trainer at Webefit or spends time at home with her wife and their 10 pets. Marianne Lepre-Nolan has been playing flute for over four decades because it brings joy to life! It allows the extroverted me to enjoy introverted, reflective time, as well offers a way to communicate the beauty of music and the flute with others. Marianne performs on piccolo as well as flute with the Westchester Symphonic Winds, the ensemble in residence at the Tarrytown Music Hall, Tarrytown, NY. WSW played at Carnegie Hall in June, 2023 (practice, practice, practice! See picture on this bio…) In March of 2024, Marianne performed the piccolo solo in Sousa’s Star’s and Stripes Forever with the West Point band at Eisenhower Hall on that revered campus. Marianne also performs with the Excelsior Orchestra and the Bronxville Pops. She guest conducted and has played graduations at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy for over 20 years, and through that experience has played for former President George W. Bush, the late Senator John McCain, and most importantly the service academy graduates who serve our country daily. Marianne received her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from Ithaca College and teaches flute in NY and Key West. Lynn-Marie Smith began playing the piano at 6 years old growing up in St. Paul Minnesota, and over the years accompanied numerous musicals, cabaret performers and choruses. After moving to Key West in 2001 she began studying the violin, ultimately joining the Key West Community Orchestra as second violin and pianist. Lynn-Marie has also played piano with the Keys Chamber Orchestra, and is currently the pianist for St. Peter’s Episcopal Church.
