The focus is on quality, safety, and resident-centered care, with the team working diligently to meet new provincial requirements and enhance infection prevention and control standards. New wellness programs and engagement activities are being introduced to promote both physical and cognitive health among residents. Retirement of Valley Manor's Director of Care
Gail Yantha, the Director of Care at Valley Manor, is set to retire after 16 years of exceptional nursing leadership. Her impact on the organization and the lives of residents has been profound, setting a standard of excellence that will endure. Colleen Kobylka, another valued member of the team, is also retiring after 44 years in healthcare, with the last 10 years spent at Valley Manor. Their contributions have been invaluable, and they will be dearly missed. The staff at Valley Manor are appreciated and valued, with initiatives such as staff appreciation events and access to the Employee Assistance Program in place to support their well-being.
