MIXED USE BUILDING | SEM 6 | INDIVIDUAL Alma de Goa is a dynamic mixed-use developm ent featurin g two blocks— a comm ercial an d a retail block—situated in th e lively area of Patto, Goa. Th e projec t explores conn ec tions between th e surroun din g creek , th e historic Fountain has distric t , an d bustlin g comm ercial zon es, enhan cin g public spa ces an d fosterin g community intera c tion. SITE CONTEXT COMMERCIAL ZONE STATE BANK INSTITUE STATE CENTRAL LIBRARY PARKING SITE 01 Masses are organized based on the site’s orientation and area program requirements. 02 Designing courtyards and spaces that open up to captivating views of the Fountainhas. 03 Carving out volumes and introducing openings in the masses fosters seamless connections. 04 A terraced garden offering natural shade and stunning views, effortlessly connecting spaces to foster interaction. RIVER RIA DE OUREM OUREM CREEK FOUNTAINHAS AREA N Nestled in Patto, Goa, the site links th e historic Fountainhas area with the bustlin g comm ercial zon e. Envelopin g th e island, a river creates a scenic creek , offering a dynamic setting for waterf ront a c tivities. Th e design aligns fun c tions to face the creek an d vibrant Fountainhas areas, maximizin g en ga gem ent with th e surroundin gs.
