As the new Academic Session propels us with renewed vigor and aspirations, we endeavor to offer you an insight into the school events that transcend across all levels of learning. It includes activities undertaken by the students, beyond the classroom, visit by industry experts, visit by students to institutes of eminence. It will also include infrastructural projects undertaken by the school. We will be introducing our young artists, poets and authors to you through their creative compositions. MONTHLY ACTIVITIES : MAR 2024

Monthly activities carried out by Army Public School, Khadki during the month of Mar 2024 are given in succeeding paras. SCHOOL EVENTS Summer Camp. The summer camp conducted at Army Public School Khadki from 18th March to 27th March 2024 was a resounding success, offering a diverse range of activities aimed at providing students with both fun and educational experiences. With a focus on sports, technology, arts, and creativity, the camp aimed to engage students in various stimulating activities to enhance their skills and foster their overall development. Activities (Sports). Students participated in various sports activities, including football, basketball, cricket, and athletics. The camp enabled children to develop confidence, Independence, Social skills, Leadership skills, and Physical Fitness. The daily schedule of the camp began at 7.40 am and ended at 9.40 pm. Each day started with a morning Assembly, where the Principal addressed the students, providing them with guidance and motivation for the day's activities. Following the assembly, a warm-up session was conducted to prepare the students physically. This session included stretching exercises, jogging, and various drills using cones, ladders, and small hurdles. After the warm-up, students were divided into different groups based on their interests and preferences. They participated in a variety of sports such as Mallakhamb, basketball, cricket, volleyball, Table-Tennis and other recreational activities. The focus of these activities was to improve physical fitness and enhance specific skills. Once the students finished their respective activities, they were given relaxation and meditation time. This period aimed to help them unwind and recharge their energy levels, ensuring they were not overly tired for the subsequent activities. Relaxation and meditation can also aid in improving focus and mental well-being. Throughout the camp, students actively participated in different activities. The camp provided a platform for students to explore their interests, learn new skills, and express their creativity. By engaging in sports and games, students not only improved their physical fitness but also developed teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. During the summer camp new Cricket Practice Net and Table-Tennis Hall for the academic year 2024 – 25 was inaugurated.

Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) Activities. The ATL activities were a highlight of the summer

camp, with many students selecting this option. The ATL workshops included: (a) Drone Workshop. Students learned about drone technology and its applications through hands-on activities and demonstrations. (b) Augmented Reality Workshop. Participants explored the world of augmented reality and its potential in various fields such as education, gaming, and marketing. (c) Aeroplane Workshop. Students learnt about aerodynamics and aircraft design by building and flying model airplanes. (d) Coding Workshop. The coding workshop introduced students to the fundamentals of programming, teaching them how to code and create simple applications. (e) Remote Control Nitro Engine Car Workshop. Participants built and operated remote-control cars powered by nitro engines, gaining insights into mechanics and engineering principles.

instruments, and learning basic music theory. Students of classes 4 to 9th participated in different musical activities in the summer camp. Activities involved introduction to different ragas, basic information of Harmonium and Keyboard and riyaz techniques for Vocal music.

Dance. Dance sessions provided students with a platform to express themselves creatively, learn

new dance styles, and improve their coordination and rhythm. Art & Craft. The art and craft activities encouraged students to unleash their creativity through painting, drawing, pottery, and other hands-on artistic endeavors.

Art & Craft and Robotics Exhibition.

(a) Introduction. The Art & Craft and Robotic Exhibition held at Army Public School Khadki on 28th March 2024 was a grand showcase of creativity, innovation, and technological prowess. With over 500 paintings, 500 art & craft products, and 50 innovative robotic projects from the ATL lab, the exhibition provided a platform for students to display their talents and achievements to a wider audience. (b) Art & Craft Exhibition. The Art & Craft Exhibition featured a stunning display of creativity and craftsmanship, with over 500 paintings and art & craft products exhibited. The artworks ranged from traditional paintings and sketches to modern interpretations of various themes. Students showcased their talent in a variety of mediums, including acrylics, watercolors, pastels, and mixed media. The art & craft products included handmade crafts, sculptures, pottery, and other decorative items, reflecting the diverse interests and skills of the participants. (c) Robotics Exhibition. The Robotic Exhibition showcased the top 50 innovative projects from the ATL lab, highlighting the students' ingenuity and technical abilities. Some of the featured projects included: (i) Agriculture Drone. A drone equipped with sensors and cameras for monitoring crops and optimizing farming practices. (ii) Camera Drone. A remote-controlled drone capable of capturing aerial photographs and videos for various applications. (iii) IC Engine Car. A model car powered by an internal combustion engine, demonstrating principles of mechanical engineering. (iv) Smart Home Project. An automated home system integrated with IoT devices for enhanced convenience and efficiency. (v) Science Models. Various science models demonstrating principles of physics, chemistry, and biology through hands-on experiments and demonstrations.

Pre Primary Wing Activities

Fun Day Activities (Class – PS 1, PS 2 & PS 3). Tug of war, tunnel game, chuk chuk gaadi, tattoo making, selfie corner was created to capture memories. (a) Objective: To learn while the learners play the games, get tattoo’s made and have fun on selfie corner. (b) Learning Outcome: Learners developed their fine motor skills, gross motor skills and muscle strength by playing in the safe environment with the teachers and friends.
