A Message from the Managing Director
Sustainability is at the forefront of all that MGF does, with a focus on evolving operations to prioritize sustainability and the environment. The company has set challenging but achievable sustainability targets, with a clear plan in place to monitor and achieve them. Key achievements over the past year include cascading the Road Map to Net Zero Carbon, employing an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor, and gaining accreditation in ISO 50001 Energy Management.

MGF aligns with Sustainable Development Goals to promote a culture of social and environmental responsibility. The company aims to ensure gender equality, use clean energy, promote health and well-being, practice responsible consumption, lead in industry innovation, support economic growth, and take action against climate change.
Environment: Climate Action
MGF is committed to reducing emissions and becoming a more environmentally conscious business. Initiatives include using hybrid/electric company cars, installing electric charge points at depots, ensuring a compliant commercial vehicle fleet, and promoting behavioural change through environmental and sustainability training. Sustainability Champions at each depot play a key role in initiatives like designing depot gardens, analyzing energy usage, promoting recycling, and supporting the Environment & Sustainability Advisor.
