The title "Búgkos" originates from Cebuano, meaning bond or bundle. It represents a collection of research conference abstracts presented by PWU authors and scholars during official research festivals. This publication is an annual release at Philippine Women’s University, with the maiden issue launched in November 2021 amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
