In 1998, Dr. G. Subramaniam and Dr. M. Premalakshmi founded the M. G. Education and Health Care Charitable Trust, which led to the establishment of M. G. Public Matriculation Higher Secondary School in 2002. By 2005, the school had moved to its current location with 7 acres of land. The shift to a CBSE curriculum in 2016 aimed at providing holistic education inspired by Swami Vivekananda's vision of 'Man Making Education', focusing on individuality and overall development.
