Mission and Impact

The San Angelo Health Foundation was established in 1995 with a significant endowment and has since awarded millions of dollars to support hundreds of community projects. In 2022, the foundation partnered with numerous nonprofits to fund projects in health care, behavioral health, elder care, education, emergency response, and philanthropic services, focusing on serving the underserved populations in the Concho Valley. Some of the projects funded include in-hospital hospice care, expanded counseling services, meal delivery improvements for the elderly, educational programs for at-risk children, and support for volunteer fire departments.

The chairman of the foundation expresses gratitude to the Trustees for their dedication in making 2022 a successful year. Each grant awarded by the foundation tells a unique story and contributes to their mission of enhancing the quality of life for the people in the San Angelo area.
