As we approach the new fiscal year, I want to take a moment to express my excitement about the plans we have in store. This upcoming year presents us with a unique opportunity to enhance our capabilities and further our mission. I encourage each of you to stay diligent and maintain your enthusiasm as we start this journey. Your commitment to excellence is what sets us apart, and I am proud to lead such a talented group of individuals. I want to remind everyone that our Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT) is coming up soon. It’s essential that each of you stays prepared and committed to your physical training. The ACFT is not just a test; it’s a reflection of our readiness and resilience as Soldiers. 1SG Corner First off, big shoutout to everyone for the hard work you've been putting in – it doesn't go unnoticed! This next fiscal year, we're getting back to basics, and I mean really back to basics. We're talking ESB tasks (shoot, move, communicate, and survive). It's time to dust off those skills and sharpen them up. We're putting a big emphasis on NCOPD this year along with training for Best Squad Competition and Expert Soldier Badge. Time to polish those leadership skills and set the example for our younger troops. It is imperative that everyone actively schedules and attends DMSOQ/PME schools. Additionally, staying medically green is crucial; therefore, I urge you to prioritize your PHA, Dental, and Vision appointments. Looking ahead, we've got some exciting missions coming up with Centam Guardian and Tradewinds. It's going to be a busy year, let's support each other, push each other, and make this the best unit USACAPOC has ever seen.
