Caring for life We offer a range of care services that are fully adaptable to your unique needs. These include: Hospital to home: We can work alongside GPs, Doctors, Nurses, or Social Workers to provide a smooth transition from hospital to home. Personal care: Support for day-to-day living whilst maintaining privacy and dignity at all times. Palliative care: We can help make life more comfortable for everyone involved by providing an alternative to a hospice or care home. Complex care: We’ll work closely with the individual, their family and other healthcare professionals to ensure a consistent approach is employed. Dementia care: We’re specialists in providing support to individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, helping them to maintain their everyday skills and to undertake activities that they enjoy. Specialist care: We have proven experience in providing care for individuals suffering from a range of impairments including Learning Disabilities, Mental Health Issues, Asperger’s and Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Cerebral Palsy.
We hand-pick each of our carers based upon their dedication, commitment, skills, and quality of care provision experience. By maintaining a small, close-knit team we are able to limit the number of carers within an individual’s care package. This is vitally important as it enables stronger relationships to develop between individuals and their carer(s). Furthermore, our carers are matched with each individual’s situation and personality, as well as their personal needs, to ensure the best fit and highest level of care is provided. About us With a wealth of experience spanning over 20 years, Vicky Hall is the proud owner of Broomfield Care in Gloucester. Throughout her career, she has dedicated herself to various caregiving roles, making a difference in the lives of those in need. Vicky has provided unwavering support to vulnerable adults and children in care, as well as offering her expertise in care homes for the elderly and individuals with learning disabilities. In early 2008, Vicky founded Broomfield Care after witnessing her Grandmother’s increasing need for extra assistance. Faced with the task of arranging home care, Vicky encountered a frustrating challenge – she couldn’t find a company that met her exacting standards of exceptional care, provided by compassionate and devoted professionals. Determined to ensure that everyone received the care they deserved, Vicky made the bold decision to establish her own business dedicated to providing compassionate care for others. Honoring her Grandmother’s memory and the place she called home, Vicky named her company after the quaint hamlet in Kent—Broomfield. “I know from personal experience that choosing someone to look after you or your loved one is a very difficult decision. At Broomfield Care we guarantee you peace of mind knowing that our highly skilled healthcare professionals are providing the expert care needed. We will work closely alongside you or your loved one, helping to improve quality of life and achievement of personal goals.” - Vicky, Owner. The team at Broomfield Care are all committed to providing the highest quality of care to each of our customers.

Case Study: Mrs. N Mrs. N is in her 80s and has lived alone at her home in Gloucester since her husband passed away, with a very supportive family close by. Some time ago she had a fall and was admitted to hospital, after which she transferred to a care home. However, Mrs. N soon realised living in a care home was not for her and decided to return to her own home and continues to live there with the support of Broomfield Care. The Broomfield Care team have been looking after Mrs. N for nearly two years. In the beginning her family were worried about whether she would accept and adapt to having carers in her home. The care team have provided a friendly and caring approach with Mrs. N, built up good relationships and encouraged her to become as independent as possible in her own environment. Mrs. N has enjoyed having regular visitors and is always pleased to see staff, friends and family. Mrs. N is much happier in herself again and feels contented again in her own home. Mrs. L, Mrs. N’s daughter, comments “The family appreciates the close cooperation of the carers and their proactive approach. I’m sure I speak for my brother and my sister when I say that we feel very supported by the Broomfield team.” Case Study: Miss T Miss T is a young woman with Asperger’s Syndrome who lives in her own flat in Cheltenham. She is very able but needs help with day-to-day life skills and interacting with people in the community. Miss T’s mother lives nearby and is very supportive but Miss T is keen to be as independent as possible, following her time at a specialist residential college during her teens when the move towards independence began. Broomfield Care has been providing care and support for Miss T for two years now. Our team have worked closely with Miss T and have helped to build up her confidence in increasingly complex situations, including regular voluntary work. Broomfield Care has helped Miss T become an increasingly independent young woman and have provided much-needed peace of mind for her family. “Broomfield Care has enabled my daughter to live in her own home. With Vicky’s guidance, support and never-ending good humour, my daughter’s confidence and independence have increased more than I would ever have thought possible.” Mrs. T.
“While chatting to one of my disabled friends one day, I asked how she approached the matter of getting home help on a daily or weekly basis. She mentioned that she used a local care company called Broomfield Care. I looked them up online. After calling them and having a brief talk with Vicky (the owner), we set up an appointment. She came to the house and we hit it off straight away. She discussed the type of care they gave and I told her the kind of help I required at that time. I explained that I did not need much personal care but, more general home care and also someone who could take me out and about whenever needed. The carers that were allotted to me have all been outstanding. No matter what I need help with they are always willing to do what is required of them. Vicky has now become more of a friend than just a business contact and I’m glad that she and her company were introduced to me by my friend.” Our Values
“I cannot thank everyone at Broomfield enough for the care and compassion they showed my friend who wanted to stay in her own home, rather than move into a nursing home. Not only did they provide personal care, give her medication and make meals, they also ensured her dog had his meals too. The final couple of weeks of my friend’s life were extremely difficult, but there was always someone at Broomfield available to come and help with palliative care, or be on the end of the phone providing support. Thank you!” Jen C (Friend of Client) “Excellent service. All the staff were very kind and respectful. We would definitely use them again in the future if needed. We only used them for a few weeks while Dad recovered from a hip replacement, but we would highly recommend them.” Karen B (Daughter of Client) “Absolutely the best care and attention, and I would go as far as saying above and beyond. The carers were fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble. The care my late father received was wonderful, the support that I received must be mentioned, and the priceless help and advice were very welcome. I can honestly recommend them wholeheartedly.” Judy J (Daughter of Client) “Mum has carers that visit her four times per day and always find them helpful, friendly and professional. The same applies to my dealings with the management. I feel we were very fortunate to choose Broomfield and be one of their clients. Thoroughly recommended.” David B (Son of Client)
