TerraTrace® is Earth’s first collection of biodegradable and closed-loop interior products. TerraTrace® qualified products are biodegradable in a muncipal landfill or in ocean water, or they have a closed upcycle guarantee. Innovasia shares VANK’s belief in a circular economy model, one that limits the consumption of natural resources, reduces the amount of waste generated, and increases the use of renewable, recycled and biobased materials. Innovasia Acoustics in partnership with VANK DESIGN offers environmentally friendly and sustainable acoustic wall panels in three styles: 1. BIO panels 2. rPET panels 3. rPET panels upholstered with biodegradable and/or sustainable fabrics 4

BIO PANELS

BIO panels are made from biocomposite materials like flax and hemp and are available in two colors. BIO_light 6 BIO_dark

BIO PANELS

THE BIOLOGICAL CYCLE OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The first material used in the manufacturing of VANK acoustic panels is a biocomposite derived from fast-growing fibrous plants, i.e. flax and hemp. These plants absorb CO2 from the atmosphere during the rapid growth phase of their annual cycle and convert it into biomass through photosynthesis. The plants used to produce bio-fibres do not require fertilisation or much nurturing - and consume little water. Also, they don’t compete with food production because the panels are made from fibre waste material, which can further be composted making it a CO2-neutral biological cycle. BIO_PANEL LIFE CYCLE NATURAL FIBRES Fibres of fast-growing oilseed crops such as flax and hemp BIO-COMPOSITE BIO-PANELS The incorporation of VANK creates its natural-origin (including three-dimensional corn-based) polymers panels in the process in the manufacturing of 3D moulding, which process results in a further increases ready-to-form material acoustic diffusion BIODEGRADATION After use, VANK_BIO panels can be disposed of in the composting process 7

rPET PANELS

rPET panels are made from post consumer recycled PET bottles and are recyclable at the end of their lifecycle. rPET panels are available in two colors. rPET_grey 8 rPET_graphite

THE TECHNICAL CYCLE OF CIRCULAR ECONOMY

The second material featured in VANK acoustic panels is rPET non-woven fabric. This material, which is the result of the recycling of plastics - such as PET bottles, is reused to produce non-woven acoustic material, which is then moulded and formed into 3D VANK acoustic panels. rPET PANEL LIFE CYCLE POST-CONSUMER MATERIALS POLYESTER FIBER Post-consumer recycled materials are sourced from bottles and floor coverings Polyester fibres are obtained in the shredding process rPET PANELS RECYCLING VANK_rPET panels VANK’s technology produces 3D shapes can be recycled again after their useful life that guarantee reduced reverberation and room noise 9
