PHASE 2A UPDATE

A SNEAK PEEK Welcome to our exclusive preview of Arrowe Park Hospital’s latest milestone. The Urgent & Emergency Care Department’s new resuscitation and staff areas, set to open this spring, are a testament to our commitment to superior care and staff welfare. The eight resuscitation rooms and seven assessment units are now equipped with modern technology and layouts that prioritise patient care, incorporating direct feedback from our dedicated staff. Not just for patients, we’ve also crafted a modern staff area on the first floor. It’s a space where our team can unwind and regroup, complete with a private entrance, comfortable layout, showers and secure lockers for personal items. These enhancements are more than just renovations; they’re a reflection of our gratitude towards our frontline heroes. We’re upgrading their workspace to uplift their spirits and support their tireless efforts in providing exceptional care. A SEAMLESS UPGRADE

AMID PATIENT CARE At Arrowe Park Hospital, we're dedicated to renovating our emergency department amid the bustling flow of front-line care. Our Pledge to Uninterrupted Frontline Services: Our commitment extends beyond bricks and mortar. We recognise that uninterrupted emergency services are vital for those who rely on us. With precision and diligence, we navigate the complexities of renovation in a live environment. Why? To safeguard our community’s access to the sole emergency department on the Wirral, where over 90,000 patients seek care annually. A Strategic Approach: Our upgrade unfolds in carefully planned phases, seamlessly integrated with the ongoing rhythm of hospital operations. But this transformation isn’t merely physical. It’s a promise—a promise to fortify the well-being of our community, both now and for generations to come. “We’re not just renovating for today; we’re forging a legacy of health,” said Keith Bennett, UECUPs Programme Director.
