Principal’s Letter

Dear Parent/s, Thank you for considering Millisle Primary School as a school choice for your child. It is very difficult to communicate what our school or any school is about across the pages of a prospectus. You will hopefully be able to gain an insight into some of what is on offer. However, I would encourage you to come and visit us and experience for yourself the warm and positive atmosphere that underpins all that we do. It is our goal that all pupils are nurtured to reach their full potential. We also want to ensure that our pupils are happy, healthy contributors to our school and to the wider community. We strive to be at the forefront of contemporary educational provision as well as investing in sporting endeavours and creative pursuits. The school day starts at 8:45am. However, our optional and very popular Breakfast Club starts at 8:00am each day. Beyond the final bell we have after school care running through until 5.00pm. Our school serves the village of Millisle along with other families who come to us from Bangor, Newtownards, Donaghadee and the Ards Peninsula. We would love to welcome you to our school. Best wishes, Ian McManus
