Helping to rewire your brain.

The more you read these ‘keys’ you will find that they become part of your thoughts each and every day. This will ‘rewire’ your thoughts forever. Read each key at least three times, once in the morning, once midday and once in the evening. Repeat the main key as many times in your head throughout the day as you can. 1. I am the new me The old me is gone and I refuse to indulge my bad habits of overeating and sloth. I am the only person responsible for my thoughts and I am the only person responsible for where I am in my life right now. From this day on I am in control and enjoy taking control of my eating habits as I accept the responsibility for my life myself and enjoy empowering myself. Just as a baby learns to walk one step at a time, I will make the changes one at a time that will stay with me forever. I realise that I do not need foods that will only be stored as fat in my body, these are for other people, not me. I will always remember the more water that I drink, the more I will shrink. I don’t look back – just keep on track Thoughts like, ‘diets don’t work’, ‘I’m not good enough’ are limiting beliefs and I will answer back – I don’t look back, I just keep right on track. Baggage has weighed me down for far too long, mine and that of other people. Today I assign those thoughts to the bin. I am the most important person to me, without me nothing will happen. It’s my turn and I choose to let go of the past. The new me only thinks: I can, I will, I must. I choose to believe that: I am good enough and I can do it Anything is possible Change is good Yes I can I recognise that no amount of food will comfort me whenever I feel, angry, sad or hurt. These are toxic thoughts poisoning the pond of my mind. I will drink more water and purify that toxic pond and turn it from a muddy backwater into a clear colourful, bright one full of happy flowers and healthy plants 3 © Motivate Plus Hypnosis 2021

3. A new day, a new way

I overcome my negative thoughts quickly and easily. I look forward to writing down my list each day of five things I got right, five things where I made good choices and can be proud of my decisions. I will use this list to remind me how I can overcome any negative thoughts and even on bad days realise that I did make good decisions. My focus will become on making that list bigger and thinking through the day what challenges I can over come to add it to the list. This list will make me feel better if I am unhappy, and keep me focused. 4. Excess fat is for Persian cats I know that my body does not need additional fat. I have already eaten enough chocolates crisps and soft drinks to make me fat. Those days are gone. I now realise that many of those foods contain High Fructose Corn Syrup which is not able to be metabolized by the body and eating those manufactured foods mean that not only do they turn straight to fat, those foods block the chemicals to tell me I am full and are addictive. 3. A new day, a new way

My body has no need for additional fat. Whenever someone attempts to poison

me with fatty dead sugary foods I will say in my head, ‘Excess fat is for Persian cats’. My body already contains an extremely large amount of stored energy and today I will expend more energy, burning off excess fat. Excess fat is for Persian cats 5. Every chew equals a slimmer you. Every time I chew my food the slimmer I become. I enjoy planning new ways to enjoy the foods my body needs. Chewing slowly, enjoying the texture and flavours, putting my utensils down whilst I chew each mouthful. I enjoy the colourful foods that give me energy, like proteins, salads, greens and seeds. I make sure that the first mouthful is protein because I know that proteins are not only the building blocks of life, but that they also help me feel satisfied sooner. 5 © Motivate Plus Hypnosis 2021

6. Nothing tastes as good as slim feels.

Every step I take will burn off those years of chocolate and cake. I forget the old me who was headed towards heart disease and diabetes and other weight related illnesses. I am full of vitality and enthusiasm and seeking new ways to burn more fat. Moving towards the new me. The more active I become the more fat I burn. 7. I am important to me – I am not a dustbin! I shall treat myself as the most important person in the world. I would not pour greasy oil into the petrol tank of a car, nor would I give cakes and chocolates to a baby and I certainly would not allow a youngster to drink wine or beer because I know it’s not good for them. I will not treat myself this way either. It’s important I have energy and those things make me feel sluggish and tired and just give me more cravings. It’s important that I eat only small healthy meals so that I can have the energy to achieve my goals. I do not fill my body with garbage anymore and if anyone tries to tempt me with poisonous fatty sugary foods that make me feel sluggish, I will remind myself that I AM NOT A DUSTBIN – I am important. 6 © Motivate Plus Hypnosis 2021

PRACTICE PRACTICE

By practising these keys your conscious mind will adapt to your new philosophy and ‘pop’ up into your head when you need them. Practice one each day, repeating in your head at least three times each time for at least three times a day. You can have some fun and make your own ones up that fit with your situation and circumstances e.g. If members of your family often bring in take away food maybe Take-away won’t make me fade away.
