This year, IFLA is providing a World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) experience like no other. Join us
at our first ever virtual Congress, to experience an event across continents, time zones, and information

The IFLA World Library and Information Congress (WLIC) is the
international flagship professional and trade event for the
library and information
services sector.
In its physical form it regularly brings together over 3,500
participants – the key players from more than 130 countries.
Our expectations this year are even higher. Our past exit
surveys show that the combined buying power of all
delegates can be estimated at more than 1.2 billion dollars.
WLIC sets the international agenda for the profession and
offers opportunities for networking and professional
development to all delegates.

Direct chat with Delegates
Through the chat function in the Platform, sponsors can
engage in text chat directly with the Delegates.
Embedded at the top of all Sponsor profiles is the chat icon.
This icon allows a delegate to chat directly to the Sponsor
about their products, sales or general enquiries.
As well as text chat, the Delegate can request a video chat
with the Sponsor that they can do off the Platform. This allows
for the Sponsor and Delegate to meet with each other and to
connect on a personal level.
All Delegates who have a public profile are able to be chatted
to directly from their profile. The Sponsor company can
initiate chat with any of the Delegates who have their profile
set to public.

Video ad in livestream

Another very valuable aspect of chatting directly with the

This is normally put at the start of the Video on Demand but

the broadcast on the day according to your air time

Brand Placement
Getting the Sponsors brand in front of the Delegates is a key aspect of the Platform.
The Sponsors logo can be put on the following pages throughout the Platform:
1. On the front page of the event Platform.
The major partners can be in the first section of the platform as an event ‘presented by’ them. All sponsors logos will also
be on the front page of the event Platform together,
2. A dedicated place on the ‘sponsors’ page, which can either be sorted into categories or all sponsors can be in the same
section.
In additon to the above, every single time the Sponsors logo appears on the Platform, it will link directly to their profile page.
Sponsors can also sponsor subthemes, their logo will appear on the dedicated subtheme page as well as on five sessions within
the sponsors chosen subtheme.

Branded Sponsor Profile
Every sponsor of the event will get an exhibition booth / branded sponsor profile. This profile will be appear every time a
delegate clicks on their logo when it is in the Platform. The profile can be built by the sponsor or we can build the profile for
them. Their profiles includes:
1. Hosted video content
2. Team directory to link delegates from the sponsor company to the profile
Uploaded downloadable resources (videos, marketing brochures, product spec sheets etc).
3. Links to all sponsor external channels (website, social media, Linkedin)
4. Direct link to chat as per the chat functionality.
In addition to this, their profile can include a lead capture form - this is where we embed a form into their profile and they can
customise the text for the form. This works very well with a ‘virtual business card draw’ style of competition.

• By returning this booking form, you confirm your acceptance of these terms
and conditions.
• All bookings are subject to approval by the Organisers, and we reserve the right to refuse an
application.
• As the Conference Organisers reserve the right to alter any aspect of the program
without prior notice. Please refer to the Conference website for the latest
information on the event.
• IFLA will take all diligent care to fulfil the above partnership and exhibition
commitments. Partners and exhibitors are responsible for providing all their
requirements i.e., logos, promotional material by the due dates.
• IFLA reserve the right to introduce new packages should the opportunity arise.
• Partners/sponsors and Exhibitors are required to make the necessary payments
as per payment terms of the invoice. The submission of an application by a
representative from your organisation is regarded as a firm booking.
• IFLA may need to pass on your full name, position, and organisation to a limited
number of third-party suppliers eg. Designers, printers, web developers, PCO
representative Delegate Connect etc. This is to facilitate your support of the
Conference and ensure you are identified as a sponsor or exhibitor of this event
and therefore receive all entitlements associated with your sponsorship
and fee paid.
