We're reaching out now, before every detail is locked, because we'd rather bring founding sponsors in early and build this together than present a finished product and simply ask for a check. The concept is a recurring evening built around a live R&B and soul showcase, a community giveaway, and a clean stand-up comedy set. We are still finalizing the venue and date, and will confirm both in writing before any sponsorship funds are collected. We are also in early conversations with local NEMT and transportation providers to coordinate accessible rides, and beginning outreach to senior living communities and older residents so this event is genuinely welcoming across generations. How We're Building This Event Out We'd rather show our work than promise a finished result before it exists. Here is how we're approaching the pieces that matter most to a sponsor's confidence, and where each one stands today. Accessible Transportation A genuinely community-wide event only works if people can actually get there. We are in early conversations with local NEMT (non-emergency medical transportation) providers and other Danville-area transportation businesses to coordinate accessible rides for attendees who need them, particularly older residents and those without reliable transportation. As these conversations firm up into confirmed partnerships, we'll share specifics with sponsors directly, and we won't describe a transportation partnership as active until an agreement is actually in place. Senior & Broader Community Outreach This series is meant to bring generations of Danville together, not just draw a younger nightlife crowd. We are beginning direct outreach to senior living communities, senior centers, and older residents to make sure they know about the event, feel welcome, and have a real path to attend. This outreach is just getting underway, and we intend to keep expanding it, including working with community organizations, local churches, and civic groups we already have relationships with through our nonprofit and coalition work, to help ensure strong, broad-based turnout rather than relying on any single audience. Sponsor Protection Because we're asking sponsors to commit interest before every detail is locked, we want to be direct about how we protect that trust. We will not invoice or collect any sponsorship funds until the event date and venue are confirmed in writing. Once collected, sponsor funds will be held in a dedicated THG account used exclusively for this event, separate from our other holdings and operations. If unforeseen issues prevent the event from moving forward after payment has been collected, THG will issue a full and immediate refund. Right Now Gathering founding sponsor interest.
