ZOOM through space

Zara

Meet Zara!

She’s 10 and full of curiosity. She loves science, sketching in her notebook, and building things—especially her cardboard rocket. But what Zara loves most is SPACE. Every night, she gazes at the Moon and stars, dreaming of new worlds, distant planets, and maybe one day becoming an astronaut.

Meet Zara!

One evening, something

magical happened. Zara’s cardboard rocket began to shake and rumble. Could it be real? ‘3… 2… 1…’ she whispered. With a flash of light—ZOOM! The rocket blasted off, lifting Zara high above the rooftops.

One evening, something

“Wheee! I’m really

flying through the clouds!” "This is so exciting" Past the clouds she soared, stars twinkling all around her. The Moon grew bigger and brighter in her window, waiting to welcome her on her very first space adventure.

“Wheee! I’m really

First Stop – The Big Bright Sun!

Zara zoomed close to a huge ball of light. It was the blazing Sun — the center of the whole solar system!. But it was too hot to stop! She had to keep going… Did You Know? The Sun is so big that one million Earths could fit inside it! “Thanks for keeping Earth warm ”

Stop Two - Little Hot Mercury

Zara zipped past a tiny, rocky planet. This was Mercury — the smallest planet in the solar system. It is the closest planet to the Sun but, Mercury has no air or weather. The ground looked cracked and dusty, and it was super hot! Did You Know? Mercury is made of rock and metal. It is the closest planet to the Sun, and a year here lasts just 88 days! “Better not land here!” “So tiny and so close!” Zara laughed

Stop Three – The cloudy Venus!

Zara flew through space and spotted a glowing yellow planet ahead with thick swirly clouds. It was Venus, the second planet from the Sun. The clouds trap heat inside. That’s why Venus is the hottest planet in the solar system. “Woah there's lightning in the sky? ” “No landing here, it’s like a giant oven in there!” Did You Know? Venus is even hotter than Mercury, with surface temperatures over 460°C !

Stop Four – The Pale Blue Earth

Zara flew around a big blue and green planet — it was Earth! From space, she saw swirling white clouds, sparkling oceans, and huge green lands. From far away, Earth looked like a tiny blue dot… But inside that dot is everything we know and love! “There’s my home!” “It looks so peaceful from up here” Did You Know? Earth is the only planet in our solar system having liquid water and living things!

Stop Five – The Red Planet Mars

Zara zipped past a red, dusty planet covered with hills, craters, and giant canyons. She saw tall volcanoes rising from the dusty ground. The planet was cold and dry, but scientists believe people might visit it someday. For now, robot rovers explore the surface. “It looks so dry and empty... but who knows? Maybe people will live here someday!” Did You Know? Mars has ice caps at its North and South Poles made of frozen water and carbon dioxide — just like Earth!
