Youth Movement 2025: Rise Up and Voice Your Opinions!

This is the moment for the youth to voice their opinions. Hundreds of young men and women will convene at the Aruh Pemuda 2025 (Kalimantan Youth Conference) in Banjarbaru, scheduled for two days on Wednesday and Thursday (July 30-31, 2025), at the South Kalimantan Province Education Quality Assurance Center (BPMP), located on Jalan Gotong Royong, North Loktabat, Banjarbaru. This initiative was launched by BASAkalimantan Wiki—an organization focused on social issues and the preservation of local languages in Banjarbaru. Its objective is to create a platform for youth to express their ideas, thoughts, and concerns about the various challenges facing the banua both now and in the future. In addition to representatives from South Kalimantan, several youth delegates from East Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan will also attend this event, which is the largest gathering of young people, all of whom possess an equal voice. BASAkalimantan Program Coordinator Wiki Hudan Nur articulated that the primary objective of BASAkalimantan is to preserve regional languages by fostering the active engagement of youth, both male and female, in expressing their views on public matters. "In the Youth Movement 2025, we convened approximately 200 young individuals from Kalimantan to express their ideas, thoughts, and concerns about current public issues and potential future challenges," stated Hudan Nur, who also serves as the Reading Ambassador of Banjarbaru City, on Saturday (5/7/2025), during a meeting with the BASAkalimantan Wiki team in Mingguraya, Banjarbaru. Youth Influence 2025 is described as an expansive platform for young individuals to articulate their perspectives on various issues, particularly within the South Kalimantan region. "Therefore, I encourage young individuals to come forward and express themselves!" stated the woman, who is also recognized as a poet and poetry enthusiast.
