Message from the

Superintendent Susquehanna Township School District is a place of opportunity, growth, and pride. Recognized by Niche. com as the most diverse school district in the nation and the fastest growing district in Dauphin County, we are a vibrant learning community that reflects the richness of our world. At the heart of all we do are our children. Their success and well-being guide every decision we make. Our strategic goals are centered on academic excellence. We are strengthening foundational skills through a strong focus on the science of reading and intentional improvements in mathematics instruction. We are committed to stretching all learners while providing targeted, intensive supports aligned to individual needs, ensuring that every student is challenged and supported. Our graduates leave Susquehanna Township prepared for a wide range of postsecondary pathways. They enroll in colleges and universities, attend technical and career schools, serve our great nation through the military, and enter the workforce ready to contribute. Beyond academics, our learners thrive in robust music and arts programs and are supported by a passionate sports community. Above all, we are #hannaproud. We are also leading through innovation. Our Cadet Teaching Program has been recognized by Governor Josh Shapiro as a model to be replicated across Pennsylvania and was included as a blueprint program in the Pennsylvania Need Teacher Report for Grow Your Own initiatives to strengthen the educator pipeline. As Superintendent, I remain committed to improving our facilities, so they reflect the excellence of our programs and meet the needs of our growing district. I am equally proud that during my tenure, the district has consistently received clean opinions on our annual independent audits, reflecting strong fiscal stewardship. Program Highlight

Together, Building College Pathways Susquehanna Township School District is proud to partner with the HANNA Education Foundation to expand access to postsecondary opportunities through dual enrollment scholarships for high school learners. This partnership allows students to earn college credits prior to graduation while remaining fully connected to their school community as they complete foundational college coursework. By reducing financial barriers and increasing access, the program helps level the playing field for students who demonstrate academic promise and a desire to pursue higher education after graduation. During the inaugural year of the scholarship program, the HANNA Education Foundation donated $12,000 to support 10 high school learners attending a partner college or university. This investment has provided students with an early start on their college journey, strengthened academic confidence, and reduced future postsecondary costs. The district hopes to expand the number of scholarships over time so more students can benefit from this opportunity. We are deeply grateful to the leadership of the HANNA Education Foundation for their continued commitment to Susquehanna Township School District and its learners. Special thanks to John Fabian, President, Dwayne DeFoor, Vice President, and Andrew Rutherford, Treasurer, for their dedication to sustaining a legacy of partnership that opens doors, expands opportunity, and supports student success beyond graduation. 03
