Wildlife sanctuaries such as Bhagwan Mahavir and Dr. Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary offer trekking and bird watching amid rich biodiversity. Markets like Anjuna Flea draw crowds for spices and handicrafts. Culture and Cuisine : Festivals blend Hindu, Christian, and Portuguese influences, with feasts featuring seafood like prawn curry and feni liquor from cashew apples. Panaji's museums, including the Goa State Museum and Naval Aviation Museum, showcase art and history. Colorful boats on Baga River and hammocks on beaches highlight everyday charm.
